Past Due Payment
My account is past due.
What does that mean?
- A “past due” account status means you’ve missed a minimum payment.
What are the consequences of being past due?
- You won’t be able to use your card while your account is past due, and you may accrue fees or interest (see your Cardholder Agreement for details). We begin reporting your account as past due to the credit bureaus if you haven’t made your minimum payment for more than 60 days.
What if I can’t pay my past due balance?
- Even if you can’t pay the full amount right now, making partial payments can help. We want you to succeed, so give us a call if you have questions or need help.
When do I need to make a payment?
- If your account is past due, it’s best to make a payment as soon as you can—even if it’s a partial payment. Check your current statement for your upcoming due date.
