Virtual Credit Cards vs. Digital Wallets:

Digital Wallets store your payment information and allow you to make purchases across platforms (in-store, online, apps).
Virtual Cards are unique numbers tied to your existing account, typically for online purchases, adding extra security. Mission Lane does not currently offer Virtual Cards.

How to Use a Digital Wallet:

In-store: Tap your phone or watch at the terminal.
Online: Pay quickly without re-entering information.
In-app: Make fast, secure purchases in mobile apps.
ATMs: Some ATMs allow you to use your digital wallet for cash withdrawals.

Advantages:

Fast and convenient transactions.
Enhanced security features like two-factor authentication.
No need to carry a physical wallet.

Disadvantages:

Not all retailers accept digital wallet payments.
If your device is lost, access to your wallet could be at risk unless properly secured.

Security Features:

Tokenization: Replaces your real card number with a secure, one-time token.
Encryption: Protects transaction data from hackers.
Multi-layer Security: Lock your device with PINs or biometrics like fingerprints or Face ID.

Setting Up Your Digital Wallet:

Download the Digital Wallet app you wish to use on your device.
After activating your Mission Lane card, add it to the digital wallet.
Follow your Digital Wallet app’s on-screen instructions to authenticate and complete setup.
